the volcano. We will visit the bowels of Etna to understand
its evolution from the interior. |

a wonderful and relaxing walk through old lava flows and ancient
forests to discover one of the peculiarities of our volcano.
We will see some of the 300 lateral and eccentric ancient
inactive craters and lunar landscapes surrounded by pure nature.

after having admired the beauties
of Etna we will end the day before an unforgettable sunset
at high altitude and we will taste a bottle of Etna Rosso.
The Etna Rosso is a blend made of 80% nerello mascalese and
20% nerello cappuccio, an elegant wine with great personality
that communicates the strong contrasts of a territory that
is arduous but generous at the same time. |

Tips for the excursion:

Summer: at high altitude
the temperature is usually high, but some days might be windy;
it is suggested to wear summer clothes and a sweatshirt or
a light coat. Also bring your bathing suit and a beach towel.
Always wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes that are
appropriate to hard grounds, never wear sandals or flip flops.
If you don't have trekking shoes or sneakers This is Etna
will provide you appropriate ones on request. Renting the
shoes is included in the excursion price.
If you are sensitive to the sun don't forget to bring sunscreen.

- we pick you up for free at your accommodation in Catania.
- if you are staying out of Catania we will organize a meeting
point according to your needs.
At the time of booking, please advise us of any special dietary
requirements.
